In a significant move, Sindh Transport Minister Sharjeel Memon has declared the pink bus service free for a duration of two months, responding to a request from PPP leader Faryal Talpur.
Expressing her gratitude, Faryal Talpur thanked Sharjeel Memon for his decision to offer the pink bus service without charge for the specified period.
Sindh Transport Minister Announces Free Pink Bus Service
A special ceremony took place in Karachi, marking the introduction of a new fleet of pink buses exclusively designated for women, under the auspices of the Sindh Transport Department. The event witnessed the presence of notable figures including Sindh Assembly member Faryal Talpur, provincial ministers Sharjeel Memon, Nasir Shah, and Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab.
With the incorporation of 10 additional buses catering to women passengers, the total count of pink buses has now risen to 28, ensuring enhanced accessibility and convenience for female commuters.

Sharjeel Memon emphasized the Sindh Government’s commitment to delivering on its pledges, highlighting that Sindh stands as the pioneer province to initiate dedicated bus services for women, marking a significant stride towards gender inclusivity in public transportation.
