University of Sindh Jamshoro Celebrates Earth Day 2024
JAMSHORO, (The Jamshoro Times) Today is Earth Day and it was celebrated in Sindh University Jamshoro with the support of Green Youth Movement. The day began with a lively walk from Allama-II Qazi Library to the Department of Geography under the leadership of Vice-Chancellor Prof Muhammad Siddiq Kalhoro, followed by a tree planting ceremony.

During the event, VC Kalhoro stressed the importance of environmental cleanliness and the need to plant more trees inside and outside departments. Dean Dr. Agha Asad Noor Pathan and Chairman of the Department Dr. Soojo Mal Meghwar also shared their views on the positive effects of planting trees on the environment. A large number of teachers, academicians and students of Sindh University Jamshoro and Colleges participated in the event.
