WhatsApp, the popular messaging platform owned by Meta, is gearing up to introduce a groundbreaking feature poised to transform user engagement. Recent reports from a reliable source within the tech industry indicate that WhatsApp is preparing to launch a new functionality utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) to generate customized images for its global user base.

According to insights from WABetaInfo, the forthcoming beta version of WhatsApp will integrate AI technology to empower users in creating images. This innovative feature, unveiled in version 2.24.14.13, will utilize user-provided images, text inputs, and Meta’s AI model, known as Llama.

To initiate the image creation process, users will be prompted to enter “imagine me” within Meta AI’s command interface or directly within a WhatsApp chat using “@Meta AI imagine me.”
